Job summary
Sun Life Global Investments is seeking a Manager, Business Automation to lead automation intake, prioritization, and delivery across business functions. You will translate business needs into build-ready requirements, guide the Automation Analyst, and ensure governance, reliability and alignment with data governance and OSFI considerations.
You will oversee development and sustainment of automation solutions using Python, SQL, Power Automate, AWS and AI tooling, while tracking value and driving
Qualifications
- 6 to 10 years of experience in automation, workflow, business analysis, or solutions delivery.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, AWS, and approved AI developer tooling.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence outcomes across partners.
- People leadership with coaching and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead Automation Intake, prioritization, and delivery across SLGI functions.
- Define requirements and manage technical feasibility with data governance considerations.
- Manage the Automation Analyst and ensure code quality, testing, and change management.
- Deliver, govern, and sustain automation solutions with proper logging, monitoring, and run books.
- Own stakeholder adoption and track value such as time saved and reliability gains.
