RBC Capital Markets is seeking an Automation Analyst & Developer to assess sponsor needs and design automated solutions, with emphasis on RPA using Blue Prism. You will map processes, document requirements, and support testing and implementation with automation leads and stakeholders.
The role requires 1–2 years in RPA development, strong .NET or equivalent frameworks, SDLC understanding, and excellent communication.
As an Automation Analyst & Developer in RBC Capital Markets, you will assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in relation to Capital Markets Business and Client Services’ projects with particular emphasis on RPA (Robotic Process Automation). You will help identify automated solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs. This role will provide assistance with designing and mapping business processes and procedures.
The successful incumbent would be required to: analyze current state processes and provide meaningful suggestions for process re-engineering and technology implementation to improve efficiency and controls; Support the detailed requirement phases by identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving requirements issues; Prepare and consolidate technical and business requirements documentation; Assist in the preparation of the implementation plan; Engage Automation Leads to plan, develop, and execute on automation initiatives; Support User Acceptance and Integrated Systems Testing by initiating the planning and development of test cases and the execution of tests; Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
