Job summary

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Automated QA Analyst for a high-impact contract in Edmonton, AB, with a hybrid option in Edmonton or Calgary. The role is expected to run for ~1 year with possible extension.

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, align to QA automation processes, review design documents, execute test cases, and report defects while coordinating across teams to ensure reliable, well-tested applications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency with Worksoft Automation.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• 7+ years building automated test cases/scenarios and coordinating system testing or UAT.
• Technical degree or diploma with focus on SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Strong decision-making and leadership capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
• Superior analytical/problem-solving skills and high attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture view.
• Strong organization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork skills.
• Nice to have: SOAP UI, JIRA, MS Excel; QA Lead experience; ISTQB knowledge; waterfall and/or agile methodology exposure.

• Coordinate and schedule testing in a multi-user, multi-project environment.
• Document test results, program specifications, and outcomes (failures and successes).
• Retest resolved defects, track trends, and report testing metrics to stakeholders.
