Job summary

Solus Canada, powered by Aviva Canada, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a 12-month contract in Mississauga. You will manage the full recruitment cycle from intake meetings through onboarding, partnering with hiring managers and leaders to fill a range of positions.

This onsite role requires 3–5+ years of experience, knowledge of provincial recruitment laws, and a strong focus on building a diverse candidate pipeline and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting in autobody, automotive repair or manufacturing.
• Post-secondary education in HR, Business Admin, or related field, or equivalent.
• Ability to recruit nationally across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of provincial recruitment laws and regulations.
• Experience handling high-volume openings and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adaptable to change.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings to identify skills and sourcing plans for roles.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding.
• Develop interview guides and candidate assessment tools.
• Prescreen candidates, review results, and make recommendations.
• Schedule and facilitate interviews with managers and candidates.
• Proactively source candidates and build a pipeline of external talent.
• Provide feedback and recruitment data to support decisions.
• Coordinate offers, background checks and onboarding.
• Create a positive candidate experience with strong engagement.
• Build relationships with colleges and industry partners for future hiring.
