Job summary

Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario seeks a senior leader to head the Auto Transformation Program, guiding a multi-year effort to modernize auto insurance regulation through a new supervisory platform and operating model.

You will drive governance, manage scope and budgets, and collaborate across teams to deliver measurable improvements in regulatory efficiency and consumer outcomes, leveraging automation, AI, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the property and casualty insurance sector, financial services, regulatory environment, or a similarly complex operating environment.
• Experience leading major business and technology transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading complex organizational change and business transformation initiatives impacting both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve business outcomes.
• Executive-level experience serving as a senior business lead, program owner, or transformation sponsor for complex, enterprise-scale technology implementations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of FSRA's Auto Transformation Program, ensuring successful implementation of the new supervisory technology platform and operating model.
• Establish governance, reporting, KPIs, and oversight to support delivery; manage scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead design of the future-state supervisory operating model, collaborating across supervision, actuarial, policy, legal, operations, and technology teams.
• Drive automation, AI, workflow technologies, and advanced analytics to improve supervisory effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, change management, communications, training, and adoption activities.

Education

University degree in business, public administration, technology, finance, insurance, economics, engineering, or a related field or an equivalent combination or education and experience

Master's degree, project management designation, or relevant professional designation
