Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Investor Services seeks a seasoned operations leader to drive transformation and automation. You will lead AI initiatives, evaluate and implement process redesigns, and partner with technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency and risk controls.

You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and establish measurable outcomes with a focus on adoption and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations experience in financial services or asset servicing.
• Demonstrated experience with project management and/or change management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Tech-savvy with ability to easily learn new technologies.
• Self-starter mindset with high motivation and initiative.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation, AI and automation initiatives from problem definition and business case development through delivery, implementation and adoption.
• Evaluate opportunities and recommend solutions including process redesign, analytics, automation or AI, based on business value and risk.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with technology and development teams on solutions requiring engineering, integration or production support.
• Coordinate stakeholders, milestones, dependencies and decisions with clear recommendations.
• Work with data protection, information security, and controls teams to meet requirements.
• Support implementation through user testing, training, and documentation.
• Establish baseline measures and track results such as time savings and adoption.
• Foster collaboration across Fund Accounting, AIS, Pricing, Tax Reporting and Financial Reporting teams.
