APC Auto Parts Centres in Etobicoke, ON is hiring an Auto Parts Store Experienced Counterperson for a full-time permanent role. Wage range $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits.

Working 40 to 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays. You will provide professional customer service, process orders using catalogues and company systems, and pick, ship, receive, stock, and deliver automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive aftermarket parts experience (customer service, sales, repair).
• A valid G Driver’s license and clean 3-year abstract preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and use of online databases and training.
• Basic math skills and understanding of units of measurement.
• Ability to sort items alphanumerically.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using automotive knowledge, company database and parts catalogue
• Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner, and make follow-up calls to customers as necessary
• Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) in an accurate manner
• Maintain overall store appearance by cleaning and organizing on a regular basis
• Pick, receive, ship, stock, organize, and deliver auto parts orders when necessary
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

Key Requirements and Experiences

• Minimum 5 years of automotive aftermarket parts experience (customer service, sales, repair) required
• A valid G Driver’s license and clean 3-year abstract preferred
• Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel, online database and web-based training)
• Basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measurement
• Ability to sort items alphanumerically

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reliably work 40 to 44 hours per week
