Job summary

HUB International in Canada is seeking an energetic Auto Insurance Trainee to actively sell ICBC and private auto insurance, hit targets, and deliver exceptional customer service. No experience? training provided and support to earn Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days.

You'll build relationships with clients and dealership partners, restock inventory, and contribute to a high-energy team while enjoying comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities at HUB.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level 1 Insurance License is an asset—but not required.
• No insurance experience? Training provided to help you earn your Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates and auto dealership partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet targets.
• Process auto insurance transactions including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations and payments.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value and drive performance.
• Support branch by taking calls, handling admin tasks, and restocking inventory.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics
• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
