Job summary

Cambrian College is seeking an experienced instructor in automotive collision to teach and mentor students in Vancouver. You will develop curriculum, prepare materials and assessments, and guide students through lab work, field placements and projects.

Strong communication and modern repair knowledge are required. Responsibilities include advising students on programs, maintaining facilities, and collaborating with college departments on curriculum and committee work.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate in Automotive Collision is required.
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience teaching or training in automotive collision topics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teaches students using lectures, demonstrations and hands‑on labs in automotive collision.
• Develops curriculum and prepares teaching materials and assessments.
• Maintains classroom facilities and equipment, and ensures confidentiality of student information.
• Advises students on program curricula and career decisions.
• Supervises independent or group projects and field placements.
• Participates in department and college meetings and committees.
