AutoCanada Inc. in Calgary is seeking a full-time Repair Technician at Contemporary Coachwork North. The role involves repairing damaged vehicles, inspecting work quality, and rebuilding to factory standards using OEM procedures.

The position requires a Red Seal or related training as asset, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of repair/refinishing processes. It offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes.
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively.
• I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed.
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job.
