Job Details: We seek compassionate and analytical professionals with strong customer service skills to join our team. As an Auto Claims Advisor, you will support customers immediately after accidents, ensuring they feel supported and their needs are met.

What You'll Do:

  • Support customer claims from start to finish, including arranging towing, setting up appraisals, and explaining coverage.
  • Gather and verify information from all sources to resolve claims thoroughly.
  • Reconcile estimates from vendors to ensure fair settlements.
  • Contribute to team productivity by managing file counts and ratios.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors such as repair shops and partners.

Experience Growth:

  • Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to claims.
  • Align with TD Insurance’s customer-centric and strategic goals.

Culture of Care:

  • Greet and assist customers at TD Auto Centres.
  • Handle each case with fairness, applying appropriate methods for resolution.
  • Communicate processing requirements clearly and maintain detailed notes.

Job Requirements:

  • One or more years of claims adjusting experience preferred; industry curiosity welcomed.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to negotiate positive outcomes.
  • Clear communication skills and active listening.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze evidence.
  • Support for process improvements.
  • Active pursuit of CIP designation or relevant education is an asset.
  • Provincial claims licensing may be required.
