Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician in Winnipeg, MB, to perform structural and non-structural repairs, disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to meet our KPI targets.

You will work with a skilled team in a professional environment, with competitive pay ($25-$33/hour) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, RRSP matching, and paid vacation. Red Seal is preferred and I-CAR Gold Class is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Post-Secondary Auto Body Repair program completed.
• Red Seal is preferred; I-CAR Gold Class certification in progress.
• Minimum 3 years Auto Body Technician experience.
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle.
• Assess and repair structural components; use frame equipment.
• Contribute toward KPI targets (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
