Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform structural and non-structural repairs, disassembly and reassembly with a team focused on quality and KPIs.

Competitive pay ($25–$33/hour) and comprehensive benefits after one month; 3+ years of Auto Body experience and MIG/TIG welding required, plus a valid driver’s license and your own toolbox.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Auto Body Technician experience.
• MIG/TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories.
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle.
• Use of frame equipment.
• Apply new knowledge to ensure quality and productivity.

Skills

Auto Body Technician experience

Welding experience (MIG/TIG)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Post-Secondary Auto Body Repair Program

Tools

Red Seal or 310B (preferred)

I-Car Gold Class (in progress)
