Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Edmonton to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately estimating vehicle damage and coordinating repairs with customers and insurance providers.

The role requires documenting repairs in Audatex and Mitchell, aligning with KPIs, and maintaining clear communication across the repair process. Join a professional team focused on growth and quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s minimum of 1-year experience.

Responsibilities

• Update ASE with details from customer interactions.
• Provide accurate, timely information and guide customers through repairs.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and WOW Operating Ways.
• Communicate customer requests to team members.
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and on the phone.
• Understand Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in production walks with Management.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings.
• Attend training sessions as recommended by Store Manager.
• Maintain KPI targets (Sales/ GP/ NP/ CSI/ AR/ CT&TT).

• Create estimates in Audatex and Mitchell per guidelines.

Job Summary

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure ASE is updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details from every customer interaction
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
• Maintain the Assured KPI’s by maximizing role performance (Sales/ GP/ NP/ CSI/ AR/ CT&TT)

• Creating estimates in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems following the latest guidelines and OEM repair procedures

Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience

Compensation Details

Compensation

$74,000 per year
