Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass in Canada seeks an Auto Body Apprentice to repair minor vehicle damage while shadowing a licensed Auto Body Technician. You’ll work with the team to meet KPIs and quality standards, gaining hands-on experience in collision repair.

You will participate in ongoing training and certifications, with paths for career growth and a competitive benefits plan after one month of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of post-secondary Auto Body Repair program.
• Minimum 1 year Auto Body Technician experience.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Repair vehicles as per insurance guidelines and our quality standards.
• Inspect and disassemble the vehicle to determine damages at start of repair.
• Repair minor damage to body panels and interior/exterior parts.
• Reassemble vehicle after repairs and inspect for quality.
• Shadow a Licensed Auto Body Technician to perform repairs.
• Pursue learning opportunities and apply knowledge to improve quality.
