Job summary

CIBC is seeking a results-driven Internal Audit professional in Toronto to support audits across Data, AI, Third Party and Project risk. You will lead testing, document work per audit methodology, and deliver actionable recommendations to management.

You will collaborate with Internal Audit teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and adapt to a hybrid schedule with on-site and remote days. A strong focus on accuracy and risk controls is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of audit experience with knowledge of audit practices, procedures and principles.
• Asset for data governance, data management, AI governance, records management, third party risk or project risk.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based audits within the portfolio and oversee testing and reporting.
• Provide consultation to Internal Audit teams on Data, AI, Third Party and Project risk.
• Communicate audit trends and findings to senior management; contribute to reports.
• Build strong internal relationships and advise on risk, controls and regulatory matters.
