• Clear and effective communicator, both in writing and in person.

They are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their Peterborough team, taking on a varied portfolio of clients and playing a meaningful role in both audit delivery and team development.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality audit work across a range of assignments, from planning through to completion, with varying degrees of complexity
• Identifying and addressing key risks throughout the audit process, drawing on specialist knowledge and internal networks where appropriate
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients, gaining a clear understanding of their business objectives and providing practical, tailored advice
• Proactively contributing to continuous improvement, researching best practice and using technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of client service
• Supporting the development of junior team members by identifying training opportunities, providing guidance, and sharing knowledge where needed

What We’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Solid, demonstrable experience in external audit within a practice environment
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word; CaseWare experience is a plus
• Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards and recent developments
• Clear and effective communicator, both in writing and in person, across a range of client and colleague interactions
• Well‑organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Commercial awareness and a client‑focused mindset
• A collaborative team player with good problem‑solving ability

Nice to Have

• Experience using CaseWare audit software
• Prior exposure to a varied, multi‑sector client portfolio
