Job summary

Ambition in Beaconsfield is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their established practice on a permanent basis. You will manage audit and statutory accounts across a varied client portfolio and contribute from day one.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ practice experience, either ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience, with strong UK GAAP knowledge and a client-facing, proactive approach. You will join a supportive team with a clear progression path.

Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and delivering audit and accounts assignments across a diverse client portfolio
• Preparing statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and responding to queries with confidence
• Contributing to the planning and completion of audit work, taking ownership of your assignments
• Working collaboratively with the wider team, supporting colleagues where needed and contributing to a positive team environment

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
• Qualified by experience, or professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience handling a varied client portfolio with a high degree of professionalism
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in a client-facing capacity
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
