Baker Tilly Canada is seeking an Audit and Assurance Manager to lead and execute a variety of audit and review engagements in our Cobourg area offices. You will manage engagement planning, execution, and finalization, while ensuring adherence to professional standards and timelines.

You will mentor staff, develop client relationships, and contribute to firm-wide initiatives. This role offers flexible working arrangements and a strong path for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• CPA or CA designation with at least 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with owner-managed businesses and private enterprises.
• Minimum of 2 years in a progressive management role with a CPA firm.
• Proven leadership, client service, and collaboration skills.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with professional judgement.

Aufgaben

• Assist planning, execution, and completion of audit and review engagements.
• Manage engagement planning, execution, and finalization per standards.
• Oversee project financials including budgets, WIP and billing.
• Mentor and train team; provide guidance on standards and BT KDN methodology.
• Communicate progress and deadlines with clients and Partners.
• Identify client service opportunities and cross-team collaboration.
