Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking an ATR 72 First Officer to operate within a two-crew environment across Canada, supporting safe, efficient cargo operations for FedEx Canada.

You will perform as First Officer under SOPs, emphasize safety, conduct pre-flight planning, and contribute to on-time performance while maintaining CRM standards. Role requires relocation to Canada if needed.

Qualifications

• 1,000 hours total flight time minimum.
• Canadian CPL with current Instrument Rating or ATPL.
• IATRA written and passed within 24 months, or ATPL.
• Transport Canada Category 1 Medical.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RAIC.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in Canada and reside in Canada or relocate.

Responsibilities

The role

• Operate the ATR 72 as First Officer in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize safety in all phases of flight, including thorough pre‑flight planning, performance, and briefings.
• Execute scheduled IFR operations while maintaining high standards of airmanship and CRM.
• Contribute to dependable on-time performance for our FedEx Canada service.

What you bring

• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time.
• Valid Canadian CPL with current Instrument Rating; IATRA written and passed within the last 24 months, or a valid ATPL.
• Transport Canada Category 1 Medical.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
• Valid passport and driver’s licence.
• Eligible to work in Canada; current residency in Canada or willingness to relocate.

Pay and benefits

• Base salary: Starting at $69,764 per annum with two pay‑level increases each year.
• Per diem: $4.60 per hour while away from base on duty.
