Job summary

Sterling Brokers is hiring an Account Executive to serve businesses across Atlantic Canada, including Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The role can be based in Halifax or another location within the region, with a technology-enabled benefits platform.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Licensed insurance advisor with LLQP and E&O in good standing in home province.
• Nice to have: additional provincial licenses or willingness to become licensed region-wide.
• Certifications such as CFP/CLU/CEBS are a plus.
• Must be licensed in the province where the client HQ is located to earn commission.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sales process across Atlantic Canada territory from initial contact to close.
• Present tailored insurance solutions and demonstrate value to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless implementation and delivery.
• Maintain records and forecast progress toward quotas using Salesforce.
• Generate and qualify leads; leverage CRM tools to optimize performance.
