Job summary

SkyCare Air Ambulance & Charters seeks Astra Captain to support air ambulance and charter operations across North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The role requires experienced leadership, strong judgment, and a background in corporate or charter flying.

Initial company training and PPC are conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or Approved Check Pilot. You will fly multi-engine turbine aircraft IFR, coordinating with dispatch, ATC, and maintenance, while maintaining the highest safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,000 hours total time.
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC.
• Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.
• TC ATPL.
• Valid Category 1 Medical.
• Canadian passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Exert command authority and uphold flight safety.
• Pre-flight planning including weather, fuel, weight and balance.
• Operate multi-engine turbine aircraft in IFR across domestic and international routes.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, ATC and ground handling teams.
• Deliver professionalism in medevac and client-facing charter operations.
• Support charter and air ambulance missions including patient transport.
• Respond to in-flight changes and post-flight reporting.
