Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton is seeking a Manager, Assurance [Audit] to lead and execute client engagements, mentor teams, and contribute to business development in a dynamic Kingston office.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation with at least three years post-designation experience, and has experience with owner-managed private clients in public practice. You’ll build relationships, coach staff, and drive quality service.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with at least 3 years of post-designation experience.
• Experience working with owner‑managed private business clients in public practice; PSAS or US GAAP assets considered an asset.
• Demonstrated success in business development, advisory and team management.
• Team player able to rally resources and collaborate with others to meet client needs.
• Build and deepen meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients; operate in a dynamic office environment.
• Strong coaching and development mindset with a commitment to personal growth.
• Able to meet professional and competency expectations and communicate effectively.
