Job summary

Distinct | North America is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion in a Toronto hybrid environment. You will work directly with Partners and clients while guiding teams across a diverse portfolio.

We value experience in Canadian public accounting, strong client management and mentoring abilities, and exposure to ASPE/ASNPO and IFRS. The firm offers growth opportunities and cross-border exposure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Canadian public accounting experience.
• Strong audit and review engagement experience.
• Experience managing engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong client management and file review skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
• ASPE, ASNPO and ideally IFRS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of audit, review and other assurance engagements.
• Work directly with Partners and clients.
• Lead teams across a varied portfolio.
• Contribute to a broad range of industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive, agriculture, mining and more.
