Role Objective

The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by setting the standard of the ALO experiences & Brand Mission. They create an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest through genuine connection, product education, and educating customers about our community and culture. The Sales Associate is an expert in all facets of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. They thrive working on a team and enjoy a culture of feedback and excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Impact the business and store environment in a positive manner aligned with store leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO’s initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure engagement with customers and provide a friendly and easy shopping environment.
• Build client relationships daily with customers.
• Analyze reports with the leadership team to strategize and deliver results; support action plans focusing on improvement areas and highlight growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce planning and driving selling initiatives throughout the store as needed.
• Communicate store goals, company communication, initiatives and new product launches to guests on the floor.
• Introduce all facets of the ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) confidently through personal testimony and product knowledge.
• Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
• Resolve client needs quickly & effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate guests and staff on our products, community, and culture.
• Understand and protect the daily schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy in partnership with Store Leadership.
• Assist in processing shipments and ensuring product flow including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence.
• Execute front‑and‑back house procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures.
• Support other business areas, including Sales & Service and Cashier, as needed.

Schedule / Hours

Part‑time non‑exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum shift of 4 hours. Full‑time non‑exempt associates are expected to have open availability 7 days a week, between 32–40 hours. All employees are expected to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the first week of January).
