Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada (Quebec) is seeking Freight Team Associates to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and assist customers with project solutions. You may operate reach trucks and order picker equipment to unload and move items, pack orders, and label products for proper holding areas.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of retail or distribution experience and be comfortable working a flexible schedule including overnights, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent is required or asset.
• 1–2 years of Retail or Distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise on shelves to maintain 100% in stock and organize the sales floor.
• Pack and label orders, and ensure products are not damaged during handling.
• Operate reach trucks, forklifts and order pickers to move merchandise from staging to sales floor.
• Assist customers and provide friendly service following company standards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in a busy warehouse environment.
