Job summary

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Co in Montreal, QC is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to own the end-to-end recruitment process for software engineering, data science and product management teams. This role will source, screen and partner with hiring managers to meet hiring goals while upholding HMH values.

You will manage multiple requisitions, maintain a strong candidate experience, and participate in onboarding and TA operations to strengthen our recruitment function.

• 1+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Bi-lingual in English and French Canadian.

Title: Associate Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Montreal, QC, CA, H2W 2R2

As an Associate Technical Recruiter, you will be a part of the HMH Recruitment Team and own the end-to-end recruitment process for key teams that are at the forefront of bridging education and technology for the next generation of learning experiences. You will seek out and hire the best in Software Engineering, Data Science, and Product Management to equip these teams. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work on broader topics like Employer Branding, Onboarding and TA Operations. You will have fun, learn a lot and make a significant impact to the team and HMH as a whole.

Day in the Life

• Identify and source quality candidates via multiple recruiting channels and techniques, including inbounds, proactive outreach, and referrals
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess the candidate’s alignment both with the relevant role & HMH values
• Manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high volume periods, while creating & maintaining an exceptional candidate experience
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their teams and goals
• Consistently track pipeline, priorities, performance data and other recruiting metrics
• Think outside of the box to create inclusive talent sourcing strategies that align with HMH’s value proposition
