Lakehead University is seeking Associate Security Guards / Security Guards to protect people and property on campus. Under supervision, you will patrol, respond to incidents and assist with traffic, parking and escort services.
Requirements include a Law and Security Administration or Police Foundations diploma or university degree, a valid Ontario security license, and strong communication skills. Night shifts are included, with a focus on safety and professional conduct.
Under general supervision, reporting to the Director, Security Services, the AssociateSecurity Guards / Security Guards performs duties for the purpose of preventing theft
and vandalism, maintaining order, providing security for all University personnel,buildings and property, controlling traffic and parking, guiding students and visitors, and
undertaking special investigation duties as required. Incumbents in all classifications aresubject to rotating shifts, day or night shifts.
