Job summary

Canaccord Genuity Corp. in Vancouver seeks an Associate, Registered Plans to join the Registered Plans Department. The role focuses on processing transactions across RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA and FHSA with strong attention to compliance and client service.

The candidate will support advisory teams, handle regulatory changes, and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes. On-site position with a market-competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of registered products (RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA and FHSA).
• Solid understanding of the CRA rules and tax reporting requirements for registered plans.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Polished client service skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to independently seek out solutions and apply sound judgement in problem solving.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Dataphile is an asset.

• Record, schedule, and process contribution and withdrawal transactions in registered accounts (RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA, FHSA).
• Provide first-line support to advisory teams on registered plan products and processes.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, client service-oriented individual with a strong understanding of registered plans in the financial services sector.Responsibilities:Perform a wide variety of registered plans related tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
