Job description

Schneider Electric's Sales Operation Team has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role of Project Manager in either our Mississauga or Ottawa location.

The Project Manager will coordinate, manage project timelines, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

1. Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders.
2. Review purchase orders and quotations with Sales reps to ensure accurate order entry.
3. Convert orders based on PO requirements.
4. Compile and issue approval and record drawings packages.
5. Keep track of drawing schedules to ensure a timely release to manufacturing.
6. Diligently manage the change order process.
7. Monitor and effectively communicate order status to relevant parties.
8. Ensure customer deliverables meet Schneider Electric's terms and conditions.
9. Complete post-shipment tasks, such as warranty claims and product returns.
10. Maintain order files with all pertinent information.
11. Initiate and facilitate team and client meetings as needed.
12. Follow up with distributors to resolve claims and debit memos.

Qualifications for Success:

• 3-5 years of experience in project management.
• Experience in electrical distribution (low and medium voltage) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with general instructions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat) and ERP systems.
• French language skills are an asset.
