• Proven critical thinking to evaluate risks and streamline workflows.
• PMI certification (CAPM or PMP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of enterprise and platform engagements by maintaining plans, schedules and budgets.
• Own end-to-end coordination on smaller initiatives and assist a senior PM on complex engagements.
• Organize stakeholder meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Prepare and maintain presentation materials, calendars and status reports.
• Coordinate change management and risk management activities, escalate issues when needed.
• Support QA activities to ensure alignment with frameworks and documentation standards.

About You

AppDirect is looking for an ambitious, tech-curious Associate Project Manager with a consultative mindset and exceptional communication skills. You are naturally structured, organized, and driven to bring clarity to complex or virtual team environments. Rather than just executing tasks, you ask critical questions, solve problems proactively, and strive to continuously grow.

On larger projects, the Associate Project Manager works to assist project managers with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings and information. You will organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget. On smaller projects, you will assume the role of Project Manager.

What You'll Do And How You'll Have An Impact

• Support delivery of AppDirect's enterprise and platform engagements by maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditure tracking.
• Own end-to-end project coordination on smaller initiatives, and assist a senior Project Manager on complex, high-visibility engagements.
• Organize and attend stakeholder meetings, document minutes and action items, and follow up to ensure commitments are met.
• Prepare and maintain presentation materials, project calendars, and status reports that keep all stakeholders aligned.
• Coordinate change management and risk management activities, escalating issues to the senior PM when needed.
• Support quality assurance activities to ensure projects adhere to established frameworks and documentation standards.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management within a technology or professional services environment.
• Technical affinity and comfort with IT concepts.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong structured mindset with a proven ability to bring organization, clarity, and structure to complex or virtual environments.
• Critical thinking abilities to proactively evaluate project risks, solve problems, and streamline workflows.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira or equivalent).
• PMI certification (CAPM or PMP) is an asset.

The salary band listed below reflects the expected annual base salary or OTE (on-target earnings) for this role at AppDirect and may be subject to change.

Base salary or OTE is just one component of AppDirect’s total compensation package. In addition to base pay, regular employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a full range of benefits.
