Job summary

Aquent partners with a leading Canadian retailer to drive an AI transformation across its ecommerce product content. We’re seeking an organized Associate Product Manager to support AI initiatives that modify how product content is created, reviewed, and published.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, and AI teams to document requirements, coordinate AI initiatives, and help launch practical AI solutions impacting thousands of products within a major retailer.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Operations, Digital Delivery, or Project Coordination.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI evaluation, or automation projects.
• Experience gathering business requirements and working directly with stakeholders.
• Exposure to Agile delivery environments.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong Excel skills and experience creating reports or dashboards.
• Excellent organization and follow-through.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, or emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness.
• Track project milestones, risks, action items, and dependencies.
• Review AI-generated outputs and participate in testing and validation activities.
• Analyze project metrics, AI performance, and operational reporting using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Maintain documentation including business requirements, user stories, release notes, SOPs, Jira, and Confluence.
• Coordinate communication between Product, Engineering, Content, and third-party implementation partners.
• Support business readiness, training, and adoption activities leading up to project launch.

This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside Product, Engineering, Content, and AI teams while helping launch practical AI solutions that will impact thousands of products across one of Canada’s largest retail organizations.
