IMCO seeks an associate to join the Investment Strategy team during a period of growth and transformation, focusing on delivering strategic and investment objectives across its portfolio.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Investment Strategy, you will collaborate across all asset classes, focusing on key investment strategies, initiatives, and research to shape IMCO’s approach.

The ideal candidate has experience in research, translating insights, working with stakeholders, leading discussions, and building relationships. You should be able to communicate concepts effectively and be recognized as a thought leader.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilize resources to analyze large-scale investment topics and trends
• Support asset class portfolio analysis for insights on performance, attribution, exposures, and benchmarking
• Assist with investment strategy reviews and strategic initiatives
• Stay informed on emerging themes and trends to guide asset strategies and decisions
• Monitor global sustainability and industry trends to inform IMCO’s sustainability strategy
• Lead research on opportunities like energy transition and biodiversity
• Operationalize asset strategies and collaborate with relevant teams
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Foster open communication and build relationships across teams

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in consulting, investing, investment banking, or related fields
• Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines; a graduate degree or CFA is a plus
• Ability to translate technical concepts into insights and lead initiatives
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proven thought leadership and capacity to drive change

• Excellent analytical, strategic, writing, and presentation skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
