Q Wealth Partners is seeking a dedicated Associate Portfolio Manager to join one of our GTA Partners in a full-time hybrid role. This position focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences, supporting portfolio management and financial planning processes, and contributing to impactful investment strategies. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, a client-centric mindset, relevant professional designations (CFA or CIM), and at least five years of industry experience. What You Will Do
  • Manage all aspects of an exceptional client experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust through proactive communication and tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present materials for clients with varied levels of investment understanding, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and market research to support Portfolio Manager’s decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Operate collaboratively with the organization’s support teams to enhance the firm’s client service responsibilities.
  • Allocate mandates and trade positions to manage cash flow and new client deposits.
  • Support financial planning processes, including completing and updating financial plans with Conquest software.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, and industry developments.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Designations: CFA or CIM required; CFP, QAFP, or PFP designations preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in investment management, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Registration as an Associate Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager required.
  • Technology Proficiency:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with YCharts for investment research.
  • Proficiency in Conquest financial planning software is required.
