Job summary

MUFG Investor Services is hiring an Associate to deliver fund administration services to private market clients, focusing on private equity structures. You will maintain books, prepare financials and investor reporting, and support accounting and operations on the Investran platform.

The role requires 1–2 years in accounting/audit/fund administration, with knowledge of private equity structures and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers and schedules for private equity funds using Investran.
• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS/US GAAP/ASPE.
• Process capital activity calculations and notices (capital calls, distributions).
• Perform NAV calculations and investor reporting; conduct carried interest computations.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investments.
• Support annual audit and tax processes with auditors and tax advisors.

Job Description

The Associate will play a key role in the delivery of fund administration services to private market clients with a focus on private equity structures. This roleis responsible for maintaining accurate books and records, preparing financial and investor reporting, and supporting all accounting and operationalaspects of clients serviced through the Investran platform.

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules for assigned private equity funds utilizing Investran.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE).
• Process capital activity calculations and notices, including capital calls and distributions.
• Perform NAV calculations, prepare investor-level reporting, and conduct management and carried interest computations.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions.
• Support the annual audit and tax processes by liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and clients as required.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress

Professional Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience working in accounting/audit/fund administration role
• Experience working with private equity structures
• Knowledge of Investran or other accounting software is beneficial
