Job summary

RONA in Granby seeks an energetic associate to help optimize product presentation, maintain planograms, and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality service while supporting daily store operations.

You'll participate in merchandising tasks, assist customers with inquiries, and help keep aisles organized and accessible, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all DIYers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic tools (hand tools, drills, saws)
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment
• Forklift driving experience is an asset
• Ability to use web-based software for tasks
• Basic arithmetic ability
• Available to work 6 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday to Friday
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Good physical condition
• Manual labor skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes and stock levels
• Ensure merchandise on displays follows planograms and visual standards
• Ensure inventory above the bay is shelved with clear price tags
• Greet customers professionally and refer to in-store team for advice
• Maintain cleanliness and accessibility so customers can move easily through aisles
• Perform other store duties to ensure smooth operation

Your role:

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals and stock levels
• Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards
• Ensure that available inventory above the bay is shelved, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward when needed
• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a member of the in-store team if they need specific advice
• Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment
• Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
• Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Good physical condition
• Manual labor skills
