Job summary

RONA is seeking a store team member to help with visual displays, stock presentation, and customer service. You will ensure planograms are followed and products are neatly presented to enhance the shopping experience.

You will assemble and rotate displays, keep price tags accurate, and maintain clean aisles while assisting customers and supporting store operations. This role requires morning hours and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand tools, drills or saws.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple items.
• Ability to move heavy objects using proper equipment.
• Forklift driving experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with web-based computer programs.
• Good arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction).
• Available to work 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes and stock levels.
• Ensure displays comply with planograms and visual standards.
• Shelve inventory above bays, position price tags, and ensure products are accessible.
• Greet customers professionally and refer to in-store staff for advice.
• Maintain clean, convenient aisles and store appearance.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.

Your role:

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals and stock levels
• Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards
• Ensure that available inventory above the bay is shelved, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward when needed
• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a member of the in-store team if they need specific advice
• Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment
• Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
• Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
