Job summary

RONA is seeking a stock/merchandising associate to help assemble displays, maintain planograms, and ensure shelves are stocked and clean. You will greet customers and guide them to the right team for assistance, while ensuring products are easy to find and presented according to brand standards.

The role involves working in a store environment from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, with opportunities for training and development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred).
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to move heavy objects using appropriate equipment.
• Experience in forklift driving (an asset).
• Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish tasks.
• Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes and stock levels.
• Ensure displays comply with planograms and visual presentation standards.
• Ensure inventory above the bay is shelved and price tags are correct.
• Greet customers professionally and refer to in-store team for advice.
• Ensure cleanliness and accessibility of products in aisles.
• Perform other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Your role:

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals and stock levels
• Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards
• Ensure that available inventory above the bay is shelved, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward when needed
• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a member of the in-store team if they need specific advice
• Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred)

• Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
• Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks

• Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
