About the role

We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Sales Analytics & CRM, to join our team in Toronto, ON. Reporting to the Sales Intelligence Manager, this individual drives data-driven decision making by combining elements of sales intelligence, commercial strategy, and sales operations. In this role, you’ll support the implementation and maintenance of our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), design and manage the field sales KPI framework and budget tracking, develop/maintain Power BI dashboards and derive insights from data. This individual will also act as a liaison between the Commercial team and IT.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between field sales and IT team by supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the company’s CRM tool, as well as receiving and implementing feedback to optimize CRM tools.
  • Support in development of CRM Dashboards for field sales KPIs including Distribution, Displays, Sales Coverage, and Education.
  • Assist in field sales territory tiering, route planning and route optimization.
  • Support in the development of the annual operating plan, ensuring sales and marketing teams are set up to deliver on their annual objectives.
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards that drive visibility into business results and allow for fact-based decision making focused on industry trends, depletions, market share, pricing, and distribution.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to produce actionable insights and support business growth.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency across the commercial function.
  • Support in development of monthly performance review for Executive team
  • Key point of contact for ad-hoc analytical support with Key Accounts, Field Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Ensure data integrity while performing rigorous validation of all data sets, reports, and PowerBI dashboards.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in analytics, commercial insights, or commercial strategy, preferable from within the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage Alcohol, and/or Cannabis industry
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups), PowerBI and CRM system (salesforce or similar) required
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and databases is expected, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake experience preferred but not required.
