We are seeking a Associate Library Technician to join our Library team.
To provide circulation services and a broad spectrum of front-line support.
There will be a layoff period in December 2026 and another one in April 2027. Final day of work is dependent on the exam schedule.
As per the KPU-BCGEU Collective Agreement, qualified internal applicants within the BCGEU bargaining unit are given first consideration in filling this position. Internal applicants must apply by 11:59pm on the internal closing date in order to be considered as an internal applicant. Internal applications received after the closing date will be considered as an external applicant.
T/W: 4:45-11:15pm (6hrs+.5 unpaid)
Sat: 8:45am-4:15pm (7hrs+.5 unpaid)
*19 hours per week on T/W/SAT
Please note- a 30 minute unpaid meal period and paid rest period(s) will be scheduled accordingly as per collective agreement.
Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
