We are searching for a talented associate to join the Estate Solutions Group in our Edmonton office. The Estate Solutions Group provides comprehensive legal services inclusive of estate planning, estate administration, dispute resolution, and litigation. Whether it is drafting a will or a trust, planning for incapacity with the use of an enduring power of attorney and a personal directive, or restructuring your holdings, we can assist you in achieving your goals.

- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Excellent teamwork and team-building skills as well as the ability to work independently
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and a variety of client contacts
- Strong problem identification and problem-resolution skills
- Effective file and practice management skills and a willingness to collaborate on projects with other lawyers and stakeholders
- JD or LLB required; admitted to the Alberta Bar (no exceptions)
- Practicing lawyer with 3 to 7 years post-call experience
- In good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
