Associate Lawyer - Corporate and Capital Markets

Currently, their Calgary office is seeking a skilled mid-level Corporate and Capital Markets Associate to join their team of experts.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of post-call experience in corporate law, focusing on capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, from a reputable national or regional law firm.
• Experience representing both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, including plans of arrangement, amalgamations, and share purchase transactions.
• Experience assisting in corporate finance transactions, including public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.
• Ability to advise on compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements, including stock exchange listings, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and shareholders’ meetings.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Exceptional work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
• Canadian qualified and in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
