A Halifax area law firm is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its busy office. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of files while delivering high-quality legal services independently and in collaboration with senior legal professionals.

Key qualifications include bar admission in good standing, Nova Scotia eligibility, strong advocacy and client development skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be a member in good standing of a provincial bar and eligible for Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience, though candidates with lesser experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of files and deliver high-quality legal services independently and with senior professionals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support corporate restructuring, M&A and estate planning matters.
