Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Edmonton seeks an experienced lawyer to advise clients on estate planning and administration matters, and to draft Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and personal directives.

You will assist with estate disputes and litigation, providing practical legal advice on complex estate and succession matters. As a key member of the team, you will manage files independently while maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with lawyers and stakeholders on complex matters.

Qualifications

• JD or LLB is required.
• Admitted to the Alberta Bar with no exceptions.
• 3-7 years of post-call experience.
• In good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
• Experience in estate planning, estate administration, estate disputes, or litigation.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong client-service skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
