Job summary

Jamieson Wellness Inc. is seeking an Associate Key Account Manager to support the Loblaw Companies Limited partnership. You will manage day-to-day brand growth within the Loblaw portfolio, provide analytical and planning support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute business plans.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will help deliver profitable growth, drive revenue, and strengthen customer relationships while aligning with Jamieson Wellness’ strategic objectives and ROIs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable revenue growth across assigned brands within the Loblaw portfolio by identifying growth opportunities and building strong customer relationships.
  • Leverage market insights and category trends to identify risks and opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and support KPIs.
  • Support development and execution of customer business plans, forecasts, and growth strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Own the execution of the annual operating plan for assigned brands, delivering revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Manage trade investments and account resources to ensure ROI objectives are met.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Associate Key Account Manager (AKAM) plays a critical role in supporting Jamieson Wellness’ strategic partnership with Loblaw Companies Limited (LCL). The AKAM is responsible for leading the day-to-day management and growth of assigned brands within the Loblaw portfolio while providing analytical, planning, and executional support across the broader LCL Enterprise business.

Operating with a "General Manager" mindset, the AKAM is accountable for delivering profitable growth through strong customer relationships, strategic business planning, and flawless execution. The role works closely with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams to support annual business planning, customer development initiatives, promotional execution, innovation launches, forecasting, and category growth strategies.

As a key member of the Loblaw account team, the AKAM contributes to the development and execution of customer-specific growth plans and shares responsibility for achieving sales, profitability, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives. As a key member of the Loblaw account team, the AKAM partners across functions and customer touchpoints to drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver against Jamieson Wellness’ strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable revenue growth across assigned brands within the Loblaw portfolio by identifying growth opportunities, influencing customer and category strategies, and building strong, collaborative customer relationships.
  • Leverage market insights, customer data, category trends, and competitive intelligence to identify risks and opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and support the achievement of sales, market share, and profitability objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of customer business plans, forecasts, and growth strategies for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Own the execution of the annual operating plan (AOP) for assigned brands, delivering against revenue, market share, and profitability targets through effective promotional planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Manage trade investment and account resources strategically, ensuring customer investments deliver measurable returns and align with company profitability and return on investment (ROI) objectives.
  • Build trusted, transparent relationships with customer partners, balancing customer needs with Jamieson's business objectives while maintaining the integrity of the company’s brands, strategy, and commercial principles.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Category Development teams to ensure the successful execution of customer initiatives, innovation launches, promotional programs, and business plans.
  • Support annual business planning, customer negotiations, and agreement management, helping secure commercially sound outcomes that drive mutual growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
  • College or University Diploma/Degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sales Experience of 3+ years in sales, account management or business development
  • Hybrid role with occasional travel
  • Category Management experience an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently, and on own initiatives
  • Collaborative, multi-tasking, ability to build a relationship with a variety of people
  • Organized and able to make an independent decision
  • Driver’s License and able to travel to make customer visits and meetings
  • Able to handle stock, loading and unloading vehicle (approximately 30 lbs. at a time)

Compensation

Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering.

For this role, the posting range is $62,900 to $94,300, which reflects the full salary range of the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, role scope, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
