Xero is seeking an Associate Engineer to help small businesses by delivering clean, reliable code and features that support product outcomes. You will work with senior engineers to solve daily technical challenges, design tests, and debug using logs and dashboards to keep systems healthy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building web apps with modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Practical exposure to React and REST API integration.
• Comfort using Git and performing pull request code reviews.
• Attention to UI/UX details and debugging locally.
• Interest in AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, testing (Jest/Cypress), components or accessibility is a plus.
