Job summary

At Xero, an Associate Desktop Engineer will contribute to clean, reliable code delivering features that address customer needs while maintaining robust software systems. You will debug, review code, and help refine engineering processes in a supportive team environment.

You will focus on C# and .NET, build desktop interfaces with WPF and XAML, and work with SQL databases, practicing pair programming and unit testing to ensure high quality releases.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and object-oriented programming
• Experience with .NET Framework, WPF, XAML, and relational SQL databases
• Familiar with Git workflows and API concepts
• Eagerness to learn modern delivery practices like pair programming and unit testing

Responsibilities
