Job summary

RBC Toronto is seeking a senior leader to coach and mentor a NAV Production group of managers, ensuring strict adherence to RBC Investor & Treasury Services policies and accurate NAV production across the fund range.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage risks and audits, and monitor SLAs/KPIs while maintaining a client-centric, collaborative culture to support efficient, compliant investment operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with an accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 8-10 years financial services industry experience in an operations environment.
• 3-5 years’ experience managing groups of operations professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with clients, senior management.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills with time management.
• Good innovation and change management orientation.
• Good business acumen and profit orientation.
• Risk management and mitigation focus.
• Good talent management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting and NAV computation for investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes.
• Assist managers in resolving issues and act as their mentor & leader.
• Establish an environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes, and procedures for efficiency and quality.
• Mitigate financial/reputational risk by ensuring controls adhere to regulatory requirements and policies.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for clients.
• Exercise sound judgement and make risk-aware decisions to protect RBC and clients.
• Challenge biases, foster inclusivity, and create a space for employees to speak up.
• First time, right time, efficiently execute client requests and transactions.
• Establish goals to manage controllable and uncontrollable costs.
