Knowledge sharing is key. As a Developer, you will help transform DevOps within Capital Markets.

What will you do?

1. Work as a skilled engineer to transform our technology landscape.
2. Lead and contribute to building a highly scalable data platform.
3. Contribute to the Standard Technical Services Portfolio.
4. Create digital assets to serve internal and external clients as needed.
5. Communicate regularly with RBC partners and employees across Canada and worldwide.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• An engineering mindset, SDLC experience with production delivery, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a sense of ownership.
• 5+ years of development experience in Python, RUST, GO, Elixir, or Erlang.
• Experience with application and system design patterns.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, e.g., SCRUM.

Nice to Have Technology experience

• Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCodeDeploy.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience supporting distributed applications.

Nice to Have Business experience

• FinTech, DeFi, Crypto & Blockchain, AI/ML, Agile/Scrum development.
