Position: Frontend Web Software Engineer

Location: REMOTE or Montreal, QC

Duration: 3 months plus extensions

Description

As an Engineer on the Users, Listings & Platform Client Engineering team at the client, you'll collaborate to define, build, and shape the future of the client’s Users and Listings product flows. The team works closely with partners in design, product, data science, legal, and marketing to deliver features used by millions. We focus on building performant, scalable, and robust systems in collaboration with other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

1. Update our software to modern technology stacks.
2. Resolve issues and ensure system robustness with testing frameworks.

Frontend Web Qualifications

1. 2-6 years of experience in front-end web development.
2. Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, GraphQL).
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
4. Experience with code reviews and architecture discussions.
5. Strong product sense and passion for UX development.
6. Ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other Engineers (iOS, Android, Web).
